Active Women, calcium and vitamin D

I just saw this after having written the previous article on Vitamin D.  This is just another reason why it is so important to consume enough Vitamin D and calcium.

What's your thought on supplements vs. diet? Do I need to take a supplement if I'm getting good Vitamin D through diet?

No, get it through food first! If you are worried about not getting enough take a multivitamin but only use it as a 'safety net' not a replacement for food.
